Hedwig is a story of love. Of learning to love who you are. Accepting the things in your life, the loves you've lost, and all the things that've made you who you are. And in consequence, loving you. The hardest thing to do. I really have to say that it is with this movie and these songs, that have helped me more than anything I've known to accept myself and the feelings I have. At the end of the day, if you don't love yourself you can never properly love anyone else.

With all the changes you've been through, it seems the stranger's always you.
